Hi there!

I am a software engineer currently based in San Francisco. I work at a company that builds and operates data streaming infrastructure. As a full-time software engineer, I have lately been working on various aspects of infrastructure security such as supply-chain vulnerability management, access control, auditing features, etc. 

Before switching to full-time software engineering, I spent quite some time at UC Berkeley working with globally distributed computer systems with a special focus on data security and privacy. Among other things, I designed a secure, globally distributed storage and streaming system. You can read a brief summary here. In my free time, I try to take beautiful pictures. Quite often, that involves hiking up to some mountains, which is a good side effect. Recently, I've been tinkering with some electronics (Arduino and friends). Let's see how that goes.
